 Both scenarios aren’t ideal but daily is better than weekly.The weekend exerciser is not making the most of their fitness programme as being inactive for a long stretch of time doesn’t help build stamina, resistance or muscle mass. It is as if you’re stuck at beginner’s level forever since you don’t maintain the consistency to progress. However, cramming your exercise is still better than being a full-time couch potato.

 

The other good thing about weekend workouts is that when people get some exercise, they are likely to want and schedule more exercise into their week days. If you only exercise one or two days a week, you should space out your active days to avoid wasting your exercise efforts. So instead of working out on weekends for an hour of cardio or working out 10 minutes daily, try to workout for 20 to 30 minutes on Saturday and Wednesday or Monday and Thursday to make the most of your exercise programme.
