There are plenty of foods out there that can substitute milk as your source of calcium. Besides taking calcium supplements to make up your recommended daily calcium intake of 1,000mg, you can try the following calcium-rich foods:

Sesame seeds 144g (1 cup) 1,404mg
Almonds 142g (1 cup) 375mg
Sardines 106g (in tomato sauce) 200mg
Sunflower seeds 144g (1cup) 112mg
Turnip greens 55g (1 cup, raw) 105mg
Baked beans 254g (1 cup, plain) 86mg
Raisins 165g (1 cup) 83mg
Bok choy / bak choy 70g (1 cup, raw) 80mg
Celery 120g (1 cup, diced) 48mg
Broccoli 88g (1 cup, raw) 41mg
Orange 96g (small) 38mg
Papaya 140g (1 cup) 34mg
Salmon 178g (1/2 fillet) 27mg

green leafy vegetables (e.g. broccoli, but not spinach), white flour, figs, oranges,(ground sesame seeds) and calcium-set tofu are good sources of calcium. You can even get it from drinking hard water.

Soya bean milk. Try to drink daisy milk. It doesn't taste like milk. Taste like vanila ice-cream and it is best for those who hated the taste milk same as me. U should try it.

if you don't like the taste of the milk (cow milk) you can drink soy milk as a substitute. plus soy milk is recommended for those who are allergic to cow milk.

This is pretty cool! Who knew we could get calcium source from eating raisins and orange. But i still think we should consume milk itself or add milk in our drinks like coffee, tea or milo. That should be good enough. It's best to consume low fat milk. I once hated the taste milk too but i finally got around it!
